This is open for serious, dedicated story bookers only. Fun Mania is the third biggest amusement/water park in the state of Indiana. Only, it's not all fun and games at the go-kart tracks. Five tracks, all unique in course layout and difficulty are home to a racing team called "Rebel Yell". Consisting of nine teens and, they practice and race every day. The younger kids either hate them or worship them, and the college kids just resent them. Right now it's before the season, two veteran karters and one staff left the month before to go to college. It's time to recruit. The championship race is in May, which gives Rebel Yell ten months and a few days to train the newbies and create a stronger team than before. The month is July. The time is now. And the race begins. Name: Age (15-19): Gender: Appearance (include picture): Personality: Position(manager, leader, tech, mechanic, racer, pilot): Strengths: Weaknesses: Racing Dress(Must wear a "Rebel Yell" shirt - include picture): Normal/Practice Dress (include picture): How He/She Races: How He/She Gets Hyped Up For A Race: How He/She Handles Stress/Loss: How He/She Handles Wins: Other: Positions: Manager - schedules practices and races, watches over funds Leader - hypes racers and pilots for races, usually the most seasoned karter Tech - keeps times, creates strategies with the leader Mechanic - makes sure the karts are in working order Racer - races, works with their pilot Pilot - navigates the courses, watches for enemy carts, works with their racer - 1 spot Rules: No god-modding No sex scenes Mild swearing only Use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation Post twice a week Keep discussion in discussion thread Failure to comply with rules will get you kicked out of the storybook. My Character Name: Lyla Golgot Age: 17 Gender: female Appearance: Her Personality: Quiet and thoughtful. She's quite the motherly type to the younger karters. When she's on the track it's all buisness though. Lyla can be quite the romantic, but tries not to bring romantic feelings into the team. Lyla can usually be found listening to her iPod when practicing and/or on a bench watching the roller coaster speed by. Position: Leader Strengths: Speed and Cutting Off Weaknesses: Letting her pride get to her and quitting in the middle of a race Racing Dress: Rebel Shirt , Shoes - Each team member has written their name on one of the high tops, Jeans , Sunglasses , Jacket - in navy blue Normal/Practice Dress: Same except for Jacket , Shoes , and graphic tees How He/She Races: Stealthy, Quick How He/She Gets Hyped Up For A Race: Listens to none other than Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" How He/She Handles Stress/Loss: Stress - drinks nothing but orange Fanta, or when in a race holds onto the wheel tight;Loss -Punishes herself and team mates with excessive training How He/She Handles Wins: Parties a little too hardily Other: Up for love The Team's Karts
