Haley Miles
"Wee!" Crash weaved through traffic like a hummingbird, surpassing cars in multicoloured blurs as we headed for base. I was used to his crazy driving now after two weeks of enduring it. It used to make me nervous, but his driving skills were something else. I could swear he could beat the Stig, given the opportunity.
"Hey, there's Jack!" he tooted his horn, bypassing the Nissian no problem. I didn't bother to wave; I was already well past the red car by the time I had leaned forward to even look out. I grinned with excitement as the base came into view, the large rectangular building looking plain and as unexciting as it could.
We pulled in (or rather, drifted around corners at terrifying speeds) and screeched to a halt inside a large, empty hangar. I clambered out of Crash, my legs feeling slightly unstable. I heard the clunking and groaning of metal as he transformed behind me.
"Hey Haley, it's Rogue and Chris. Hey guys," he waved a metal hand towards the pair, who were standing with Captain Lennox. I turned and waved lightly with a grin. Crash and I strolled over to the trio.
"Good morning," I said cheerily to them, giving a little nod to Captain Lennox. He eyed me warily, obviously having listened to my dad's rants about me. Oh well. My father could say what he wanted.
"Don't you look bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning," Captain Lennox commented. "Anyway, I will see you two at the meeting later." He gave us a curt nod before leaving.
"How was your morning?" I asked Chris and Roguewave.
*Wanted to get Haley interacting with others, if that's okay*
