Am I just a barking dog?

I had read in many books, that there are different types of people in this universe, one who live their life the way it goes and some try to change it with their sheer attitude. Even from that second category of people there are some who make their destiny shine and then they tell others about it, while some anxious and enthusiast like me speak out the destination the moment it hits the adrenal glands.

During a conversation with one of my close friends, who made success touch her feet with her competitive nature we had an argument on this nature d human who tend to challenge themselves by telling few people around them “that I shall do this or shall do that” . I was very sure that she was among those type of people who did touch the pinnacle of the mountain and then wave the flag of victory. The reason it became an argument is because, I always knew that her method was a safer way to achieve success in life. You achieve your target quietly and then people know about it, but I had a different point of view for the same… the people who blow the triumph of success before they achieve it are always under pressure. This category of success story will enjoy their success because they have achieved what they used to tell others…..

After the discussion with her, I started thinking that the safest way to avoid others laughing at your dream is to avoid telling them, but my nature still remained same for months. During those days when I was reading a book named “the king of bollywood SRK” by anupama chopra, I came across a line that the successful actor Shah Rukh Khan(Indian actor) said in his unsuccessful days, “I shall rule this city one day”. Those words might have come out of frustration from him, but his hard earned efforts made him actually do it what he had said.

That was just an example of that category of achievers in life, am sure you might be knowing many more like him. As I continue my journey to walk the steps of success, I always make a constant effort to strike a balance between these two category of achievers who whether they say it first or later but does not remain behind in the race of success.
At times when I am not able to achieve the required target as I dream t or told others, I do ask myself “Am I just a barking dog, that seldom bits?”
