There’s a little picture pinned up beside my bed,
And it tells a story, one I’ll won’t forget,
This little picture it keeps a laugh inside,
And the people in the picture they keep their smiles wide.
There’s a little flower that’s dried up on my shelf,
And it gives me a reason, to be happy for myself,
This little flower it reminds me of that time,
And the petals on the flower they make me think you’re mine.
There’s a little bracelet tied around my hand,
And I can feel my feet resting on the sand,
This little bracelet it helps me coming through,
And the bow that it’s tied in, reminds me of you.
There’s a little song playing in my room,
And the lyrics in that song say you’ll be with me soon,
This little song belongs to our first date,
And the time you first kissed me cos you didn’t want to wait.
There’s a little place I pass on my way home,
And sometimes I sit down, it’s strange when I’m on my own,
This little place takes me back to that last night,
And the shirt you wore was black, the dress I wore was white.
There’s a little letter you sent to me one day,
And the words that you wrote were the words you could not say,
This little letter brings a tear to my well worn eyes,
And the laughs that we had drown out my cries.
There’s a little dance, I do in the rain,
And when the water washed over me, I forgot about the pain,
This little dance is a little overdone
But every time I finish, I think I may have won.
There’s a little bus route I take into town,
And the places that we pass sometimes make me frown
This little bus route, claims to take me home,
And when I arrive there I know I’m not alone.
There’s a little picture pinned up beside my bed,
And it tells a story, a story I won’t forget.
