i don't love this poem, but i want to advertise my passion for digital arts :] so... hope you like it?! :]
* i don't know whether to post it here or under "Arts&Photography" :] i have more of these, with better poems (and so i think)... where do you think i should post the next ones? :]
Well, thanks! i had fun doing it! :] but, since i posted it as a poem, i guess it has to be reviewed first, right? So, if anyone saw any errors, well, it would be easier with the regular copy, so here it is:
Two Doors
I see two as one,
But neither is the other
Both have my heart,
But only one has my soul
He who holds my inner core brings me pain,
Shoving me in a hole of uncertainties
There was a time when our hearts were one,
Desiring they still are, but are silenced
Despite my efforts of forgetting our past,
Of moving on to a different direction,
He holds me back with a web of hope,
With obscure glances that seep through me
I buried him deep,
Wishing he’d never see light,
Not knowing it was a seed,
That blossomed into flowers
The other brings the resentful against me
Uncovering the sharp daggers of hatred
Captured by the web of undying conscience,
Misguided in the heart and decisions
I refuse to escape this unwanted union,
But still hold on to this string of confusion
He glued all the pieces together,
I’m afraid he’ll break it just the same
In the vast blanket of the night,
We are two stars bright with affection
From below we seem so near,
Yet in truth are so far away
Clouded in thought and emotion,
Between heads and tails,
Two doors that contain pieces of me
An impossible choice I must make
I love the graphic, but i'm glad you posted the poem by itself because it is easier to correct.
First: add periods at the end of sentances and change the uppercase letters where it is needed.
Second. Nothing really.
Sorry that is the best review i can come up with. I really like the poem. It was a good way of showing us the choices in you're life and the difference between them.
Hi there!
This is a very nice poem, but don't you think you should add a full stop
espically in the last line.
I am not a very good critique and I'm currently out of suggestions
so all I've got to say is that I really like your poem.
