English Homework -> the Joker.

As homework, our english teacher asked us to interview our favourite character from a movie or book. I chose the joker (Heath Ledger's portrayal of him.) Please can you give me questions to ask him and maybe possible answers? Thanks in advance. This would really help me.

Mia: Why do you change the story of your past?
The joker: If I’m going to have a past… I prefer it to be multiple choice.

Mia: Okay. Do you ever feel pity after killing one of you victims?
The joker: I don’t think of it as killing. More as giving them a short cut to the next life.

Well, I would suggest not just asking questions that can be answered with direct quotes. It's kind of cheating. ^^

That's what I thought and came up with this:
Mia: How did you get those scars?
The joker: They had told me the Carnival would be fun. Candyfloss, feris wheel… the clowns were my favourite. They picked me to go on stage with them. I tried as hard as I could to be funny, but nothing happened. No one smiled or laughed. No giggle or chuckle was heard. A single boy picked up a stick… and threw it at me. Ohh boy did that get everyone going. They took pleasure in my humiliation. I didn’t. At home I contemplated my failure. If only I could be more like those clowns… Creeping into the kitchen, I took out a huge knife, and put it inside my mouth. The smile, that’s what I needed. “Why so serious?" I said to myself. Now I see the funny side. Now I’m always smiling.

And by the way, the one about killing his victims wasn't a quote .
