He walked on and on. He seems to know the exact way to where he

is headed. He was walking fastly but not running. His faced was

covered in tears. He was crying.

He knew he did it by himself. There was no one else to blame.

He had two options but he chose what he thought was right. And

now, he regrets it.

Flashback:

"You're such a loser, Thomson!"
said a big boy with his two

friends smiling behind him.

"I-I'm NOT!"

"Yes, you are. You're really crazy."

"No, I'm NOT!" the boy began to cry.

"Yes, you are! Everyone in school knows that you had that

stupid invisible friends of yours! Hahaha!"

"S-S-Stop! Beeby is not invisible, he's true! He's my friend!"

"The ONLY friend you have. And he's NOT real!" said the bully

and left the crying boy alone.

The cry boy's name is Jack Thomson. He was the school outcast.

And so young he was. 5 years old and was already the laughing

stock for his little school.

A big fuzzy bear approaced him.

"Hey Jack! What's wrong?" the bear asked.

"Go away, Beeby! Go away!"

"Jack, I'm here to help you. Now, what's wrong?"

"I don't need your help! Go away!"

"Jack, I'm your friend! Now, what's wrong?"

"You! You're wrong! Because of you, I don't have any friends!"

"B-But I'm your FRIEND."

"No your NOT! You're not my friend anymore! Go away! I don't

ever want to see you again!I want to have REAL friends!"

"Can't you have real friends and still be friends with me?"

"NO! GO AWAY! I HATE YOU!" the boy cried.

And with that, the bear called Beeby left, dissappeared into

the air and dust.

End of flashback.

That was the last time Jack saw Beeby. He didn't care at first.

He was happy. All the kids at school liked him. He even became

popular!

And now, here he is, crying and standing at the place where it

all happened. Where he lost a friend.

All these years, he thought everyone liked him but he was

wrong. None of these so-called friends ever liked him. They

used him. Jack, you see was born rich and was the heir to a big

company at their town.

Now, he is was his twenties and lost almost all of their

family's money because he had to lend some to his so-called

friends. He thought they'd return it back-he was wrong.

He sat at the grass, still crying. A bid shodow of something

furry covered the sunlight. He saw the shadow and stopped

crying.

"What's wrong, Jack?"
a familiar, very familiar voice asked.

"B-B-Beeby?"

"Yes?"

Jack looked back and saw the fuzzy brown bear smiling at him.

He leaped up and hugged him.

"Are you mad at me?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I'm your friend."

"But didn't I tell you to go away?"

"Yes, you did. But, once I'm your friend, I will always be your

friend."

"You're a true friend, Beeby, even, if your just imaginary."

"Oh! But another TRUE and FAITHFUL Friend told me that you need

to start working hard."

"Why?"

"Because He said, you'll be succesful soon, a maybe and great

father."

"Is this friend a fortune-teller?"

"No. He just KNOWS things."

"Who is this Friend?"

The bear pointed up in the sky and said, "HIM."

Beeby, stood up and walked back.

"Are you leaving?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Because your grown up now, you have go and work as hard as you

can! And make sure to SEE out the real friends, there's lots

out there."

With that the bear dissappeared.

"That was a nice story, Papa." said a little boy.

"I know. Now, go to sleep."

The grown up man tucked the boy in his bed and the boy fell

asleep.

The man headed for the door but before he went out, the turned

back and said, " Take care of my son, Beeby."

"Yes, I will, Jack,my friend."
