My friends entered a Rock Band tournament last week (hosted by AMP Energy, a brand of energy drinks) and demolished the competition, placing them in the finals against four other colleges. If they get first place they will win $100,000! I'm not kidding.
The only problem is they have nowhere near enough votes to win. They've only received about 150 votes while the group who is currently in first has around 1000 votes. Anyone who has a Facebook account, please go to www.facebook.com/ampenergycanada and vote for the band you think is best, preferably the one from Humber College. If you want my opinion, they should be in first. As far as I know they're the only band that had a mosh pit form in front of the stage. You can cast a vote every day, so be sure to vote more than once.
