Hello, everyone. I need all the help I can get for this chapter. Thanks!

As I walked down the corridor, I opened the doors and took a step out into the afternoon crisp air of December.
Walking down the sidewalk I heard someone call out my name, “Kate!” I swiftly turned around seeing Cece running up to me. Her bleach blond hair swishing side to side as she ran, more like jogged up to me.
“Hey, Cece.” I stopped where I was as I waited for her.
She came by breathing heavy but took in large breaths calming her pace down. “I'd thought I'd missed you.”
“Huh?”
“I wanted to walk with you to class as we do everyday.”
“Oh! Oh, I know what you mean.”
“Come on, or we'll be late for class.” She pulled my arm as she leaded me to our sixth period British Literature class in the portables.
When we walked up the steps, Andy popped out of the door, “Hey guys!”
“Hey, Andy.” I said.
Cece leaned in and said, “Why is he so happy?”
“Don't know.” I whispered back.
“Come in, it's cold out there.” He spoke in a lively tune.
All three of us walked in as Miss. Fisher closed the door behind her, “Good Afternoon, class.”
I took my seat as Miss. Fisher placed her things at her desk. Her auburn curls bobbled around her face as she moved from here to there. Her dark freckles was and still is the highlight of her oil skin complexion.
“Class.” She came up to the front of the room wearing black dress shorts, black knee boots and a black sweater. Everything about Fisher was black this and that. She wasn't huge for that color but had a tendency of wearing it often.
“I have been thinking over the past few days and decided on something very exciting for you guys to do over the break.” With those words some of the kids whined at the sound of homework over the break.
“It's not going to be something like a final exam but more of a project.” She took a second to clear her voice, “I've decided to call it A Trip To The Past. Or more like a ancestry project. What I want you guys to do is write or design something that represents something from your family history.
So I'm asking is a representation of a person from your family's past and write a story, essay, power point, of life in their shoes. Put yourself in their place and see through their eyes as they lived life in their era or period of time. The person that you choose to do, can go through any national event, new inventions, war and anything else that can be significant in their life.
What you plan to do can be fiction but plan to have facts within your work. Everything will be presented on the day you guys come back.” She paused for a second time as she scanned over the heads of students, “If there is any questions please come see me at my desk. Because we have most of the period left, why don't you begin researching. If you can't find anything to do, I will provide you with some work.”
With Fisher walking back to her desk, students went up to her and asked questions about the assignment over the break.
“How does this project have to do with British Lit.?” Cece questioned while Miss. Fisher began to call out the attendance.
Andy shrugged at the same time I spoke, “Maybe because our ancestors came from Britain.”
“Cece Chandler.”
All three of us turned our gazes to Fisher, “Here.” Cece announced.
While the names were called out, Andy texted, Cece fumbled with her manicured nails, and I thought about the project. Who could I use? I don't know very much about my ancestors. I guess I'll just have to ask mom, then. Or maybe dad.
“Andy Lynwood.”
“Here.” He didn't even glance one bit from his cell phone.
“Hey, Andy I was wondering why were you so happy when Cece and I got to class?” Cece looked at the both of us then at Andy.
“Yeah, why Andy?” Cece repeated.
He clapped his cell down and said, “Because-”
“Kat Stryder.”
I turned my attention at Fisher, “Oh, here.” Then back to my friends.
“Go on.” I uttered very lightly for no one to hear us.
“Because, when I was walking to 6th I “accidentally” bumped into Brooke Phillips.”
When he was done, I glanced at Cece and saw that her green eyes widened in surprise and mouth was gapping open. “You what?” She mentioned.
“Andy, what do you mean “accidentally”?” I voiced softly but loud enough for him to hear me.
“Forget that, Kate.” Cece leaned closer to Andy, “How did you do it? Could you teach me to flirt with Draven?”
“Flirt? I thought he just bumped into Brooke. Now this is flirting? What are you guys getting this at and bringing Draven into, too?” I implied strongly enough for them to understand.
Andy and Cece slightly turned to their sides when Fisher walked over to us.
“Andy? Cece? Kate? What's the meaning of all this? Why aren't you doing your research?” They both looked at each other and said nothing. “Well?” She said that word very slowly to get some sort of reaction from us.
“Um, Miss. Fisher. We were just talking about what ancestor we were planning to use in the project you assigned for us to do over the break. But we can't tell who we want, 'cause there are so many people in our families from the past.” What I said hopefully got her thinking.
“I see, Kate.” She turned her attention to my friends, “Is that true Andy?”
He glanced at me quickly and nodded, “Yes, Miss. Fisher.”
“And you Cece. Do you believe what Kate says is true?”
I saw Cece scrunching up her dark eyebrows, “I don't think that Kate is lying. What she said is true and we do need help.”
Our teacher didn't say anything for awhile and the silence felt awkward. After a few moments of the whole class staring at Miss. Fisher the bell rang and she flipped back into reality. She looked around like she was lost but finally got what happened.
“Everyone. I want these projects done when you come back from break. Have a pleasant holiday and I'll see you when you come back.” She walked back to her desk while everyone grabbed their bags and books and left out to the buses.
As I left the portable Andy and Cece caught up with me.
“Hey, Kate. What was that back there?” Cece mentioned.
I turned around and faced them, “I don't know. I think Miss. Fisher kind of spaced out for a bit and forgot she had a class to teach.”
Cece's lips formed a perfect O as Andy spoke, “Thanks, Kate. For helping us back there. We kind of needed it.”
“Sure.”
I glanced around the school when the loud speakers from the office announced, “Have a wonderful Christmas Break Lexington High School! And we'll see you in two weeks.” The beeping sound clicked off.
When that ended I went in a full circle, glancing at the students playing with the early snowfall. Then I saw something, “Eww. Guys look at that.”
They both saw what I was staring at and Cece said, “My god, Kate. Does your mom know that Nixie does that at school?” We were looking at Nixie making out with her boyfriend, Skylar Adams. “Especially with him.”
“I know. I don't think mom knows, yet. But she'll eventually find out sooner or later.” I rolled my hazel eyes as I checked my watch. “Well, gotta go guys.”
“So soon, Kate?” Andy asked.
“Yeah. Mom asked me yesterday to help her clean the attic.”
“Okay.” Cece said in a sad tone.
“Come on, guys. I'll probably see you guys tomorrow. Oh, and Cece. Ask your parents about tonight. 'Kay?”
“Okay.” Her voiced peeked a little higher than usual.
“What do you mean tonight?” Andy's expression looked utterly confused.
“Oh, we're just gonna have a sleepover. Just girly things, Andy. Nothing a manly man like you would like. Well, bye.” I turned away from them and smiled.
Mary had a little lamb. Little lamb. Little lamb!

Ugh!! I really hate my name. >.<

I would gladly review this! :D

“Come on, or we'll be late for class.” She pulled my arm as she leaded me to our sixth period British Literature class in the portables.

Instead of leaded i would say led

I took my seat as Miss. Fisher placed her things at her desk. Her auburn curls bobbled around her face as she moved from here to there. Her dark freckles was and still is the highlight of her oil skin complexion.

I like the description of her teacher here, although i would change a few things. Instead of saying Her dark freckles was and still is the highlight of her oil skin complextion you could say something like Her dark freckles are still the highlight of... Also, I'm not sure what you mean by oil skin complextion so I'm not sure what to advise for that

“It's not going to be something like a final exam but more of a project.” She took a second to clear her voice,

Instead of putting clear her voice i would suggest you use clear her throat but that's just my opinion!

So I'm asking is a representation of a person from your family's past and write a story, essay, power point, of life in their shoes.

Instead of saying So I'm asking is a... you could say So what i'm asking of you is a...
It just sounds better, if you know what i mean?

Put yourself in their place and see through their eyes as they lived life in their era or period of time.

You could say Put yourself in their shoes, if you like. Oh and i would change their eyes as they lived life to their eyes as they have lived life

Overall i did really enjoy this, but i haven't read the other chapters so I'm a bit lost, but that's my own fault! Anyway, I'm really intrigued now and want to find out what happens to Kate, Cece and Adam. I hope my review helped!
