The Life of the Wife

The life of the wife is tenuous
and often strenuous.
What say you, wife?
“What’s this strife?”

“My life, as a wife, is simple.
Easy to smile from dimple to dimple,
wouldn’t you say?”
How about pay?

“What ever do you mean?
My husband and I are a team.
His money is my money.”
Isn’t that funny?

“What’s this?”
The life of the wife is tenuous

What tripe is this?

Hahahaha! That was hilarious! I hear my mom say stuff like this all the time! I hear it sooo much that I could become a wife right now if I wanted to! (Which I don't. I wanna stay a kid! *cries in her little corner of dissolution as she awaits her 14th birthday* *whines about not being a kkid anymore*

The rhythm could be better though... ^^,

Anyway, this is just great! Hang on, I'm gonna feature it on my profile...There! Mission accomplished! And no death warranties needed! (Hehe!)

This poem is rather funny, and pretty good. Not my type of poem, but not bad. The rhyming was a little too precise, and in the last stanza, you changed your rhyme scheme. Now, it is possible to get away with this, because it means you wanted emphasis on a certain part, but in this poem, it interrupts the flow. Could you possibly change it around? Nice job though.
