Hi. I'm wondering if anyone knows what police officers say to the people they arrest when they're arrested. Specifically young offenders in Canada. I'm finishing up my story for our project on the YCJA (Youth Criminal Justice Act) of Canada, and I can't do more until I know.

Hm...in America the police read the arrestee their Miranda Rights, which will be something like:
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you. Do you understand these rights?" (wikipedia)
