OOC: ok

STEVEN

This girl was strange. She seemed to be... dazed. As if she wasnt really in the room with him. Whatever was wrong with her he couldnt fix it here, they needed to get somewhere safe.

"We have to go" she said.

This was the same person who had been walking in the streets at night alone. Why would she just now be concerned with leaving? "How do you know?" I muttered.

"I saw them coming."

At that moment there was a loud shuffling followed by the screams of the dead outside.

I looked at the room. It was mostly empty save for a staircase on the far wall. It was better than nothing, and if need be it could act as a funnel for anyone who got in.

I motioned at it. "Lets go up there and see if theres a roof access, if not, it will be safer than down here." With that i pulled her up and ran up the stairs.

Ballow

Ballow looked around the mansion in sort of a daze. It was dark, but he knew it was daytime. Something snapped in his peripheral vision and Ballow turned to it sharply narrowing his eyes at the shape that was approaching him.

A blurry silhouette staggered near him and as the figure got closer Ballow was half amused/interested and half repulsed. The body was one of his miadservants, but the mind was definitely not, no, something more like a starving animal.

Ballow begun to run in a concerned state. The look in the womans eyes, was not one he trusted. Quickly he began think through things that may have ocurred to turn his maidservant into a homicidal maniac.

Thinking back, she had never been very nice. Maybe it was when he had demanded sea satl and not vegetable salt on his dinner when she might've snapped. You never knew anything was possible with humans these days.

He smiled and he found that he was running towards the garage subconsciously. He figured it'd be smart to get out of this dark pplace. It was possilbe that the crazy lady had cut the power chords as well. Maybe that was why it was so dark.

Soon, he got there and was in one of his flashiest, fastest cars in a jiffy. Pulling the key out of his pocket, which he kept a spare in every single on of his pants, (made out of gold no less) he pushed it in the ignition and snapped the car on.

With a loud noise he zoomed off. Glancing once at the garage door closing he was aware of seeing some of the other maids clambering away from the sun. A shudder ran down his spine as he pressed on the accerleration pedal

He headed towards town, hoping to find someone to help with the crazy maids back at his house.

(Geh, I'm at a loss. Someone stop his on the road? Maybe . . )

Cassandra~

I rushed up the stairs with him. I stumbled and nearly fell but we made it on the roof in time. Below the zombies were trying, and not necessarily in vain, to get in. What would happen? I tried to concentrate on my power. but it wouldn't be called upon right now. It would just tell me it's knowledge whenever it felt like it. I sighed.
"What now?" I asked him.
He shook his head, indicating he didn't know. Better make myself comfortable up here.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"Cassandra. Like the Greek Prophet of doom." This worked out quite nicely too. The power to know the future came to Cassandra. Always to Cassandra. At least people believed me. But not before this happened. I remembered trying to warn everyone. Naturally they were too wrapped up in their own lives to believe me and save themselves.

OOC: I would just like to make a note. If you read the introduction i stated that teh dead are "faster and stronger than normal humans" so think of them like the things from I am legend the movie. you dont have to change anything, just make a note of it for future references. I will write in a little bit im about to leave.

This girl is deffinitely something else, I thought.

Aloud, "Im Steven. What exactly is your gift? You say you saw the zombies breaking in, and you looked really out of it, what do you do?"

"I get visions of the future", the girl said, "sometimes they are foggy, and they always pop up randomly. What do you do?"

"I move things" I said as I picked her up with my mind and set her back on the ground ten feet away.

"That was fun" She said.

*Sorry its short, im drawing a blank

*Cassandra is not that shallow!*

Cassandra~

I sat looking at him. Sometimes I could see others future. If I looked hard enough. But understanding his mind was like trying to read War and Peace upside-down.

Without anything to do but wait we just sat. Anticipating the moment when the dead would find us. That time wasn't far. Without warning the door leading to the roof burst in and the blood-thirsty demons attacked.

We ran to the opposite edge of the roof. My adrenaline wasn't allowing me any thinking space. But I knew we were trapped.

I pulled my pistol out of its holster and fired off five shots. I didnt look to see where they hit. With my other hand i grabbed Cassandra and jumped to the next roof and then the next, Firing over my shoulder as we went. When the buildings stopped I set her down and put a new clip in my pistol. They were still coming. I looked around for something, anything that I could use against them.

The floor, I thought, I'll use the floor against them. I waited till the dead had were two buildings away then handed Cassandra my gun.

"Hold this."

I focused on the building and put all of my will power into it, even stretching one hand out towards it. This had to work, I was not going to die now. When the dead landed on the next roof the floor collapsed under neath them. I grinned and then dropped my hand. The building collapsed in on itself.

A wave of diziness sweapt over me and I dropped to the roof, loosing conciousness.
