This storybook will be different. Instead of chasing dragons all the time, we'll be chasing God.
The story is this: The ghost ship Flying Dutchman is a large part of English legend.
Jacques retells it through the eyes of Ben and Ned, the only two on board who have pure hearts.
Now, three hundred years later, Ben and Ned have found help.
Here's what we do.
Each of you choose a county, research it, and build a character. Use your own homeland.
Now, each of the humans is paired with an animal: Ben's is Ned, and the others can be any
type. Just make it a real one.
Now we can start this.
Vernon, on the Spanish and French Border.
Two figures, a boy and dog, walk down the road. The boy's eyes are downcast; his hand
rests on the black Lab's back.
The dog whines and licks his hands. "It's not the end of the world, Ben. We'll meet others."
"I know. But Kara and Dominick were... were... Ned. The Comte was going to made us all brothers."
Ned knew his friend was right. "That's it, Ben. It's time we had a real family."
