this is a funky Jazz epic tellin' a fantasy gangsta story (please read the whole thing)

Obsidian Gatz & Cheshire Lilies (this is a Jazzy epic rap , straight outa south USA)

part 1

From the Marble tower of fragrant romances

an O.riginal G.angster stands gallantly

sworn to uphold the beauty of peace in the name of the thankless enforcement of justice

looking down upon the world as neither good nor evil

but as lighter and darker patches of gray

each with its own silver lining.

The O.G. raises his gun towards the garden of stars falling from the heavens

in the defense of the constellation of roses on his throne.

The O.G. sells his soul in the purchase of a phoenix flame in order to ignite

and light the darkness in his heart.

The O.G. opens his mouth and releases the ravens

who've fed on his despair.

each raven a lyric of lamentation in the rap song of long life

the fingers that pull the triggers of the tools that roar like thunder at the speed of lightning, spitting blazing hot dragons breath and iron ripping Lions fangs.

are the fingers that also push the keys on the piano

the keys that open the door to his mind

that let's out the love songs and words of greetings

to those who listen.

The O.G. hustles towards paradise everyday

and comes home to sing about how it was.

part2-the sand menagerie

The O.G. beckons a radiant morning

In order to set out across the blue plain of decision

Where the grass grows azure and travelers go to become lost within themselves

his eyes took his heart up riding on the fragrances of an aerial herb caught in the tune of a hot new breeze that lifted his heart upwards like a mocking bird monologue.

his feet took his soul diving through the earth

to the ancient drum beat of long dead and forgotten civilizations that went rhythmic on his soul like the force of gravity.

In this state the O.G. vocalized lyrics that unraveled his mind and tied it in a knot around a daydream, to which he crossed time and space unaware but on his way

To the sand menagerie, a beautiful land of illusions and desolation.

Upon his arrival to the sand menagerie where the winds dived like hunting falcons as they spooked the slow moving sand dunes to migrate into monotony.

the O.G. drew up a poem like water from a whispering oasis.

using the oasis’ poem as a guide he was led to an Island in the sand.

This Island gleamed with the value of jade and the beauty of glass as it stood rising above the granulated tsunamis of fluid earth baked in the fires of heaven..

And upon this jade island lived a Beast..

part 3-the Bestial Enforcer

Upon the jade island in the high sea of the low sands

Resided and presided the bestial master

It was the Manticore

The face of Law and the body of Punishment, its eyes were righteousness itself in their glare, for they would incinerate any soul dimmed by crimes against the trinity.

Its fur was forever stained crimson with the blood of the unjust for it ran thick and remorseless, like the sap from a carnivorous tree

that suffocates the innocent forest around it.

it would never wash away as long as criminals against the law of order, peace and love lived.

Its Mane was a nest of thorns and blades that signified the danger of disobeying the law that was written upon the face like a unanimous message carved in stone by the chisel of sacrifice.

The body was as a lions and tense and muscular , sensitive to the evils committed so loftily.

Rigid like the Mountain against horizon, destructive like the meteor falling from the heavens

And inevitable like the creeping death

mounted upon the blanched immovable steed of time itself.

The Tail, ever poised to strike down the unworthy, was a necessary scourge

So terrible was it to behold that its capabilities were known by its appearance.

When it stung , it stung to punish, those its sting did not destroy it scarred and left them to suffer what is worst than death.

And that is the true guilt

The internal atrocities suffered in punishment for the external atrocities in the crimes

the tail was to be seen, feared and respected as the Law itself for it was the punishment of the violation.

This was the Manticore, This was the Mandate

This is what the O.G. swore fealty to

and in his recitation of loyalty the Manticores venom dripped unto his tongue and gave his words Authority and purpose.

The O.G. was also granted the Gatling Gun , Azrael, its ammo was fed in upon a chain as long as the reach of injustice,

in a way this tool...

was endowed with unlimited ammo.

to be continued...

in the next episode :) :

The O.G. is goin' town, where the oppressors of mankind will try to hold him down
they fear his lyrics and his beats his wisdom and his feats
The O.G. is up against alot

"but it's all cool"

...man, when you said 'funky jazz' immediately I started to think of King Crimson...haha

Not bad. Some might complain about the length, but I'm not one of those people. Well done mate.
