Allright, here's the deal; I have to do an essay on Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel Love in the time of Cholera. This is the essay title:

The passing of time and consequent aging shows us love at different stages in life and helps us understand the characters Florentino and Fermina.

I haven't a clue where to even start.

...Use that as the thesis sentence and not the title of the whole paper, firstly. From there, just build up evidence to back up what you're saying. Make sure that the evidence is solid, and irrefutable. Otherwise, good luck. There really isn't much else I can say to help you out.
