Ethric's pain filled voice echoed through the chamber. "You little wretches! You think you can defeat me? I'll kill you all before you can!" He rose to the top of the chamber as his head began to glow with a bright red light. "If I cannot create my perfect world, then I shall destroy you all along with the Soul Forge!" The giant floating head started to inflate as rays of light peaked through the gaps in Ethric's helmet.
"What's he doing!?" Karana yelled.
"He's going to try to kill us by blowing up the mountain!" Luke shouted.
"But that'll destroy the Soul Forge, too!"
"What are we going to do!?" Izuki shouted.
Luke faced everyone. "We only have one shot at this. It's either now or never. Ilum and Karana once fused together, maybe it's possible for all six of use to do so."
"How are we going to do that?" Warren asked.
"I don't know, but we have to do something." He dropped his giant gun and held out both arms. "Everyone, join hands." They did. Power seemed to jolt through everyone's arms once they formed a circle. Each of their bodies began to glow with a different coloured light, purple for Luke, light blue for Raven, bright red for Karana, dark blue for Ilum, yellow for Warren, and green for Izuki. Their bodies became engulfed by the light, then they all fused together into one massive orb of pure white.
Ethric was on the verge of exploding and demolishing the entire mountain. Before that happened, though, the white orb of light shot up toward him, slamming into his head. The force of the impact sent them all up through the ceiling and out the top of the mountain. Ethric's castle was destroyed in the process. The orb of light continued to push the dark knight up higher and higher, toward the eclipsed sun.They kept going up and up, until both Ethric and the orb of light exploded, painting the dark sky with a grand splash of white and red.
Luke woke up a few hours later from the light of the sun. He opened his eyes to find himself on the top of Mt. Gigazet. Ilum, Karana, Raven, Warren and Izuki were all sprawled around him on the green grass.
"Wait a minute..." Luke said when he noticed the colour of the grass. He looked up to confirm his thoughts. The sky was pure blue, and the sun was no longer black. They had done it, they had defeated Ethric.
They had saved the world.
Epilogue:
Izuki: After the defeat of Ethric, Izuki went back to the traveling theater group with whom she had been performing for before meeting Luke and the others. It was only after a few months, though, that she was compelled to find a higher calling in life. One day the theater group performed for a poor village with an extortionist lord who took everything the villagers owned for himself, leaving every villager in poverty. After their performance, Izuki snuck into the lord's mansion. Using her magical abilities, she opened his safe and stole the deed to the town and his mansion and gave them to the villagers. From that day on, Izuki and her group became rouges disguised as a travelling theater group. They travel from village to village, performing for people and doing the whole Robin Hood thing.
Karana, Ilum: As soon as they recovered from their battle with the Dark Knight, Karana and Ilum got married, moved into a small peaceful village together and had two kids, a boy and a girl. Ever since the birth of their first child, they both hung up their weapons and vowed never to use them again unless the word was thrown into chaos, just as it had by the dark knight. Until that day, they would live together in peace, raising their children.
Raven: A few months after the defeat of the dark Knight, Luke proposed to Raven and the two of them got married. Although, unlike Karana and Ilum, their new jobs prevent them from living together. After their victory, the master of the Mage's Guild came to Raven and asked her to take his place. Now, Raven is in charge of the Mage's Guild, training many students in the art of magic while raising the child she and Luke had given birth to a three months after their wedding.
Luke: By the request of the king of Arcadia, Luke was pardoned of his action that had gotten him exiled from the city and was asked to come back into the army. After two short years of service, Luke had gone up in rank to General of the the entire king's army. Now, it is his duty to ensure the safety of the entire kingdom. But even with his responsibility, he always tries to make time to see his wife and child at the Mage's Guild.
Warren: Even with the death of the dark knight, adventure still called to Warren. Finding it impossible to settle down and live a peaceful life, he decided to leave Arcadia in search of new lands, new adventures. No one had ever seen him since the day he left, but he had promised to come back one day to see his friends again.

(Sorry if everything seemed a little choppy at the end. I just wanted to get it over with so I could write the prologue. I'll start working on finishing the web page I made for the sequel so we can get started soon. I've decided not to make it a video game, since it would just add a little too much confusion. In the sequel you have to make new characters, you can't use the ones from this storybook. But, I made it so you can be the child of the character you used. As for me, I intend to make a character that has no conection with any of the ones in this one.)
