i see. okay, one last question that been burning a hole in my mind for some time. Do thieves cover themselves(take another identity) during the day and work at night?

Not unlikely. Most of the time thieves in the Middle Ages would steal to make end's meet. A second identity is not unheard of.

but i could do that, right? because my story takes place in a different world, model after the middle ages.
