Halloween

It’s a time for things unseen
Of macabre monsters and evil queens
Where demons dance
And witches fly
Where the night never dies
Halloween comes alive.

Werewolves howl at the moon
And wizards recite ancient runes
Victims scream as vampires bite
Throughout the ever-lasting night
Heed this dire warning -
Halloween lasts until morning.

Ghosts hover above the ground
Graveyards make an eerie sound
Phones ring and no one answers
Devils and demons become dancers
Ghouls and goblins haunt the scene
Because tonight is Halloween.
As your pretty, so be wise,
Wolves may lurk in every guise.
