Verse 1
Turned around and all was dark,
Not a thing that you could see.
Faced the front and focused hard,
But you're blinding now for good.

Pre Chorus
What is this that's happening?
What is it that I've done?
Were you wrong for looking back?
At the past you left behind?

Chorus
But it's too late now,
To try and change things.
It's too late now
To try and see,
It's too now,
To see the life,
That lies ahead.

Verse 2
Give me one more time to try,
Give me one more chance to see.
Misery takes over my soul,
I am lame and growing old.

Pre Chorus
You're hitting walls; you're losing it.
Can't identify your path.
Were you wrong for looking back?
At the past you left behind?

Chorus
But it's too late now,
To try and change things.
It's too late now
To try and see,
It's too now,
To see the life,
That lies ahead.

Bridge
You're tripping in a world of darkness…
Tripping on the road of darkness…
Tripping on everything that's everything but clear…

Chorus
But it's too late now,
To try and change things.
It's too late now
To try and see,
It's too now,
To see the life,
That lies ahead.

You IMed me this poem-song, which must be why I did not comment on it. Anyway, you know I liked it. I liked it again after rereading it. It seems to be an anti-I Dare You to Move song, which I really liked. I thought it was darkly written with a slightly upward trend throughout. I liked the Bridge (pre-Chorus) and the Chorus, those are my weakest spots, but you pulled them off beautifully. Maybe you should take up a career in writing lyrics.

It is...*sniff* I could never write lyrics for songs. Notation, ya, but no lyrics. This is sooo different from a lot of what they put on the radio now. :D Cool. Hey, is your avatar a picture of you?

I liked it too, but there's one little thing

It's too now,
To see the life,
That lies ahead.

Is the first line I quoted supposed to be "It's too late now" again? If it is, change it. If not, *shrugs*

I moved it 8)

Wouldn't want to look like a slacker, not doing anything.

I thought it was pretty good, but it didn't seem like my sorta music.
