The Decline Of Beauty

Staring out of the decrepit window.
A lazy pale blue glint
dances upon my periphery.
Teasing my soul.
Tasting my prejudice

The creak of the door.
Rustling dead grass.
My dry toes meet the freezing limestone
lying around the dank murky waters of the garden pond.

Breaching the water's surface with a tired arm.
The touch
all humanity ,creation ,love
summed up in the meeting of two forces.

As I drag my limb from the brown pool
the feeling could not be fathomed
as the object rises I see.

True beauty....

The shrouded glint of a thousand sorrows
dew slips from it like expensive wine.
Above it lies the silky glistening web
reflecting pure beauty from this extraordinary beast.

The moment lasts a lifetime before
an order is barked which penetrates the aura of this moment.
A child so young
jumps through the open swinging gate
guns are raised

I rise to my shaky legs as the child's body is ripped to shreds
the soldiers behind me jeer at my weakness

True sorrow....

My grip on the item drops
I do not deserve its beauty
for I march with a simple purpose
exterminate for my leaders will
to kill the Jewish
the people which are different
How could something so beautiful exist in a world so ugly
its hard to be a conscientious objector surrounded by monsters
snarling viscous Nazi monsters

True Life....

This one took about an hour to write so its not one of my best i tried to use the best wording possible

A touching poem, I like it how you made the gun the beautiful object you were talking about the whole way through.

A couple of nitpicks:

1. Capitilize the start of each new line and put a comma after every line which doesn't end with a fullstop. This just makes it easier for the reader to tell how the poem should sound and makes it clearer to read.

2.
As I drag my limp from the brown pool

This line doesn't really make sense.

3. Make it clearer at the start as to where the MC is. It skips from the garden pond to the killing of the boy, try and make it clearer as to where he is.

other then that, a good poem, though fairly sad when the boy dies
