The Maria-teacher: one famished
for a heart so fresh.
Something that would
crush, crunch in her paltry palm
between pinky and thumb and forefinger farce;
that would keep her,
hold her, greet her here
in this world with so little air.
And there, before her on the desk,
sat Arthur's anemic essay
and there, before her in the chair,
sat alluring Arthur himself
with his olived heart beating through his chest.
With the promise of
continued existance in this place,
this place where her life-air breathed thin through the walls,
she instead snaked a hand through his throat
to devour his bright green heart.

I think your poem is about a teacher who just wants to be loved but she can't find. So now she is bitter and takes it out on her students. Am I right kinda sad isn't it?

lol, you're not even close ^_^ Though it's not entirely your fault. There's a missing link here that I kind of forgot to write. Hmm, I'll get around to fixing that.
