It's Lose the Game Day, 8/8/08.

Lose the game!

First off, everyone is playing the Game. Anything sentient.

Secondly, losing the Game is done by thinking of the Game, and realizing that this means you have lost. For example, if you think "Oh dear, I lost the Game.", you lost. If you carry on a lengthy discussion involving the Game, but you are so into it that you forget that you're supposed to have lost, you haven't lost.

Third, now that I have explained the rules and you realize "Oh, this means I've just lost the Game, doesn't it.", you HAVE! Congratulations.

Fourth, whenever you lose, you must announce failure by saying "I just lost the Game."

Fifth, although this is up to debate, there are no grace periods. When you forget about the Game, you forget, and you won't lose again until you remember.

The objective of the Game is to completely forget it exists.

(I have just lost the Game. But I took you down with me, so it's okay.)
