I honestly do almost have a headache after writing this!! I've never done anything quite so hard!!
I could only do three and a half lines on the last stanza due to the word limit...
Anyway, I gave it my best shot :)

-----

When leaves go out in a blaze of glory
Making an effort through one last stand
Giving me inspiration for this story
Gaining recognition throughout the land

Extraordinary transformation they take
Words, yes mine can never do justice
Quite beyond our powers with replicate
Could not even be done by great Augustus

Their colours are bright, loud and gory
Red, yellow and orange, so very grand
They could never mimic the conservative Tory
Maybe instead your royal pipe band

Trees adorned with these are fun to shake
Creating euphoria stronger than robustus
Now we’re using some gardening rake
Ow, #$&#$%tice…

(by the way, the last word isn't really swearing... I just couldn't find another word to rhyme)

I wasn't terribly keen on this poem, if I am being honest. It lacked any definite direction or structure. the absence of punctuation, made for a irksome read.
HOWEVER! You HAVE managed to use very sublime description and vocabulary - without straying into purple prose...Something i despise :P
So well done on that front :D

You clearly have talent my friend.

Love

Time is not your best friend - unless you use it wisely.
