                                 "Blinded"

                               A hero, I am not.
People may look to me for advice and help
And though I have many words of wisdom
And come to save the day countless times.
                                 I am no hero.
                                I wear a mask.
                             It blinds your eyes.
                        Preventing you from seeing
Who- Or what I truly am.
Leaving you to see a person who will overcome.
                               Fooled and Naive,
You believe what I present to you.
                                I'm not a hero.
Merely a villian in a mask.
Disguising my evils and pretending to be just.
                                Wearing the veil,
                              Concealing my face.
You can't discover my true identity.
                            I share heroic qualities.
My actions reveal my mischievous nature.
                                 A heart of gold
                                Or a heart of coal.
                                   I'm not a hero.
                               Experimenting with life,
                              Knowing that I shouldn't.
                       Dating people you'd never approve.
                     Relationships that is simply unhealthy.
                                 Nothing but trouble.
                             Holding my own secrets.
                               Turning on myself.
                         Maybe I'm looking for help,
For someone to save me from myself.
A hero that can conquer the villain deep within.
                                    A hero, I am not.

I really like this piece. I love how you put a spin on the whole masked society kind of idea.
"Blinded"

A hero, I am not.
People may look to me for advice and help
And though I have many words of wisdom
And come to save the day countless times.[This should end in a comma]
I am no hero.
I wear a mask.
It blinds your eyes. [no period, probably a comma would work better]
[these lines don't make sense to me... they don't really seem to fit the rest of the poem]
Relationships that is simply unhealthy. [that are not that is]
Nothing but trouble.
Holding my own secrets.
Turning on myself.
Maybe I'm looking for help,
For someone to save me from myself. [sounds repetitive with turning on myself only two lines before]
A hero that can conquer the villain deep within.
A hero, I am not.[i love the repeat of the beginning here!]

This is a very beautiful poem and I love the ideas you pull through it! Did you get an A on it? You should have! But kudos! Loved the poem!

That's very pretty. And very thought-provoking. The entire time I was reading I had butterflies in my stomach. I really have nothing bad to say besides watch you grammar, and be careful of changing tone. You did so, just slightly, with the 'dating people you'd never approve' line. But other than that, it's a beautiful peice! Keep up the great work!
