TIMMY: Are... are you finished, boy?
LASSIE: (pause) Yeah, sorry, I just had to get that out there. Sorry.
TIMMY: (hesitantly) Okay... what did you want?
LASSIE: Oh! Um... arf, arf... woof, woof... bark.
TIMMY: The cows got loose?
LASSIE: Yeah, yeah they did.
TIMMY: Okay. (pause) Y'know, if you enunciate a little bit, it could help with some of the confusion.
LASSIE: (pause) Really?
TIMMY: (pause) Yeah.
LASSIE: Oh... um... sorry. I'll try harder next time.
TIMMY: (over LASSIE) That's fine. Just try harder, so we can understand you, and stuff.
