YWS Will Be Down Sunday; April 20, 2008 (US Time)

After sending out the mass e-mail last night, I got back about a dozen responses from people saying they couldn't access the site. I'm not quite sure what the issue is as there seems to be four different screens that people are seeing when they try to access the site, but it seems to stem from when I reset the server a few days ago to apply an update patch to the core programming. My hope was to make the site faster, but instead it made it inaccessible for many. So in an effort to fix the problem, I have to take the site down, which will be done this coming Sunday. After the site is taken down, a completely new operating system will be applied to the server. What You Need To Know In an effort to cause as little hassle as possible, the site will go down sometime between midnight and 1 am on April 20, EDT (4 to 5 am GMT, 5 to 6 am BST). At this time, I do not know how long it will be down, but probably no more than 12 hours. And if you like your avatar, save it before hand! This only happens to 10% of the members, but avatars can get lost when doing this (don't ask me why; I have no idea).

I'm sorry you're sick, but luckily this still won't effect me. I'm up to my ears in homework.

This will make me stop procrastinating! Hopefully I can finish checking the threads first, though.

Feel better! And get rest - we can wait for bugs to be fixed.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
