Okay, the setting is the Cattle Raid of Cooley, which occured in Ireland in the kingdoms of Connaught and Ulster. The plot is going to be a split, with a behind the secnes look a two kingdoms at war, and two royals from those kingdoms trying to stop the war by finding an ancient talisman called the Heart of Macha. Those two characters are Cuchulain, who was forced to kill his best friend, and Cainyer, the daughter of Queen Maeve, who lost her fiance. The main characters are Cainyer(me), Cuchulain/Setanta, King Connor, Queen Maeve, King Ailil, and Cainyers sisters, Faife and Finnabair, and Cuchulain evil warrior girlfriend/fiance, Aife . Cuchulain was about 17/18 during the raids, so keep the younger characters around that age. You can add minor characters if you want, just make sure that they will "fit in" the story. or, if you find another character that I've left out, please feel free to use them.
