preference, for one thing
or another,
there's nothing i can do
to change yours.

spontaneous jealousy,
appearing when you're
just around the corner,
at the routine rounds you make,
stopping and knocking
on wooden doors.

eager communication,
it was all feigned.
but it turns my head
towards regret
to trace the trails
that once made me smile.

unspoken words,
fear to break
this awkward friendship,
shooting bullets from my directions,
filling your life
with unwanted litter.
articulate at your presence,
nudging random questions
simply to hear some answers,
only to spit out the dust
while turned away.

yeah, this is dedicated to you.

i saw the truth,
this was for you.
doubts that you're fancied
by a stranger?
wonders of the torture
stuck on your back?
so little time exists
in the points between
meeting and discussion.
captivation from the start...
scary, now that you know:
this is for you.

don't believe what i say,
as you read this,
every word sliding down the page,
that these unoriginal words
are put together for you,
sitting there, reading this?

hope this captures those eyes,
these feelings
of a complete stranger.
never leading to direct confrontation-
it goes only to break something
much better than this infatuation.

cannot convince you to believe,
all for you,
still for you,
right here,
speaking to you.
bothering for this unread,
settling to the bottom
without passing through your life.

indecisive everything,
yet remaining the unpreferred,
no auditions to choose.
trigger pulled back and aimed,
but unwanted trash
doesn't pass through.

An okay first draft, but I think you need to make it more concise.
Please, sit down before you fall down.

You definitely need to be more succint. It kind of dragged on after a while. It was good though, nice concept and good connection with the reader. Just make it shorter and more dense and it'll be more interesting to read and more powerful. Good job.
