"God" Is Everything

Who here believes that all religion are the same? I have always thought that why is it that most people have different opinions about who is God and what is his/her name and all that stuff. Aren't all religion say and teach the same thing? To serve God and to be good to your fellow man. Well I was born a Catholic but I don't really strictly follow it. I don't believe that God has a gender. I believe that the person or thing that we call "God" is the whole universe itself, the whole cosmos and life itself. Who here believes the same way I do?

Well what I meant by God as the Universe is that God is a collective being and not a single person or human-like being. What I meant is that life existed because of "God" so life existed because of the Universe. When we die we merged with God, when we die we merged in with the Universe. We become, "energy", we become "souls". That many Gods in the mythology I believe are the manifestations of nature or the universe (typhoons, waves, volcanic eruptions). People in that age idolized them as gods (I think that "God" is the manifestation of everything.)

Views about Religion

I believe that polytheism came to fruition because the people in the Old Times believe that the forces of Nature are the doings and the domains of "gods". That's why they named the sea and the ocean as the kingdom of Neptune or Poseidon and the Sun as the domain of Apollo, etc. As for monotheism, I think that came to fruition because people started believing that there is a supreme being, that there is someone who far surpasses humans in every aspect. Humans yearn for "power and knowledge". That is why the term, "God" was made. "God" in there mind is a perfect being with human-like qualities. Example of that is, "Why is it that we portray Allah, God, and Jehovah as males (and yes it is true, just try to search for their pictures and you'll see). Who said that they were males? Who said that they have arms and eyes? Anyway humans earn for perfectness so that is why they created the perfect being but the image of their perfect being is not perfect.

Universe is the perfect thing because everything is part of the universe. Our body is matter, our soul is energy. Every thing from life to non-living thing is a part of the universe and that as our body ceases, our soul, our energy unites with the Universe, unites with the perfect being. Who created the Universe? Who created God then? If God did not create himself because "He's the almighty being". Then it's the same for the Universe because it's the perfect being. They are the same. We live in the Universe, we live in life, we live with "God".

Views about "Speaking in Tongues"

Well I think the reason that people could "speak in tongues" is because of our souls reacting with each other, our energies. It's like our energies are trying to call on each other or trying to fuse with each other so that we would understand each other's thoughts and words. I think your next question regarding this one would be, "Then why is that we can't just easily talk and communicate with everybody then"? I feel the reason for that is eventhough every person has an energy, has a soul they all are different in range. Everyone has different lifestyles and different beliefs. They may know or have experience something you don't know about and that may sometimes create a barrier between you. Our energies are also being filled with those different emotions at the same time as our heart and mind does Did you ever notice that when someone is angry the people around him could feel it?. You could compare the soul to a post letter. Before you can send a letter to someone you will first need an address of where to send a letter, right? It's the same as energy. Before we could communicate with someone we first need to know that person, "What is her name, how old is she, where does she live, does she have brothers?,etc." Our energies came from one source, "God" so it is just natural that our energies would react with each other and try to converge. We are all the same in the first place.
