Poetry, A song of the deep,
a lock to your soul but a breath you must keep.

Places you can go with the world left behind.

The world of poetry is dark but strong
Nothing you think could ever be wrong.

The problem here is that the poem's message is awfully tired. I think as writers we've heard all the dreamy idealistic stuff before..."Poetry is when you pour out your emotions and la dee dah ponies and butterflies." No.

Ditto with Cade. We see this kind of poetry so much that it needs its own category/forum thing. Be original with your work and post something that'll blow us away as you audience! ^_^
