I liked this a lot, but i might change the "If only I had a wish" to "If only i had one wish" or something a little more definite and clarifying. It was just the tiniest bit confusing the first time i read it.

I don't know if the "We are content with going under" works so well; it seems like too many sounds to say in relation with the previous lines; like you'd have to say this one really really fast and out of rhythm for it to fit. Similar with the second line above; maybe nix the "the" and replace the "and" with a comma? Then again, I don't know what kind of music this is set to. Knowing would be helpful. Otherwise? I love this chorus.
