Beat That Word Count!

I've been sitting on this idea for a few days, trying to develop it a bit better. Basically, the premise of the game is to challenge yourself to better your NaNo word count. The rules are explained below:

Start off by posting your current word count. Then, look through other peoples' word counts to find one higher than your own. Pick one that's higher and make it your goal to reach in the amount of time you so choose (15 minutes, an hour, thirty-three days...). When you beat it by whatever margin you so choose, post your new word count for others to beat! If there are no word counts higher than yours, post yours anyway to set the bar for others. Then, when someone's beaten your word count, beat them right back!

I sense rivalries will soon evolve, lol.

Well, I didn't quite beat 9,035 by the end of today. But I got up to 7,306 today, and that makes this my most productive day yet! If I can manage to do the same thing tomorrow, I can beat 9,035 with a decent margin! Yay for motivation!!! This was a great idea, Razorblade!
