The story behind this is a little over a month ago my best friends mother had passed away and my friend is only 13 and she took it pretty bad. And after her death my friend is still very upset and depressed and angry and i wrote this for her.This is about how much someone can change in a moment. And how much i appreciate my mom. I love you.

As it turns out only for a little while
I end up with your disputes
So many mountains in your highway, you would take the back routes
We all know she brought us laughter
Then the problem appeared after
Your life is as complicated as none of us would have foreseen
But you don’t realize there are so many shoulders for you to lean
It might sound selfish
But I cannot keep up with your wish

You have forgotten your father has a son
You need to keep your chin facing the sky
In your bed, for days you will lie
I can’t imagine my life without her to cover
Now we say “Goodnight, I love you” to our mothers.
