Changing Usernames

Has anyone actually changed their username yet? Mine won't seem to let me...

Oh, yes! Many people have in fact, such as ilubdraco to Lauren, Aquarius Angel to Syddles (though I think she's changed it again) and write me will soon change to either Shayne or Via.

However, you can't do it yourself. You have to ask Nate to change it for you.

No, Aet, she's referring to the fact that Nate said that today through Thursday it would be like "free-name-changing" day. (Read the original thread at topic20684.html ... I seem to have trouble with confining urls to words.) I haven't had the option, either, Rae, so I guess it'll start this evening.

Though in all seriousness, my name will probably change to Aet Lindling. I thought that spaces weren't allowed in the username when I made my account, but I HATE grammatically incorrect usernames.

Hah, I haven't heard of this until today. *lucky* Since I HAVE heard of it, I might just drop the spaces and the 'the' in my name. "JabberHut" is my username everywhere else. I don't know why I decided to be different here. @_@

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. This was the first place I could think of to put it.

That would be 'cause there is no help forum. However, there are question threads sprinkled all over the site. And you can always ask someone in green or red!
