This poem was written for English...I got 17/20 for it. I'm not sure I like it, but I thought I'd post it anyway and see what you all thought.

Country Town

The dusty road –
Red and dry,
Winding around the corner shop.

The doors, ajar –
Beckoning,
Inviting you for a cuppa.

The open paddocks –
Spacious,
Cattle grazing under the sun.

The smiling faces –
Friendly,
Tending to their crops.

A country town –
My Home.
A magnificent place to be.

Its nice but something is missing... Its too short and I would of loved it to be longer. I think its good though why so short?!

Because I couldn't think of anything else to write....lol. I don't even live in a country town. :)

And it looks longer when it's written out by hand...I tricked myself.

I liked it. I can relate to it. For me, it would be more like "Richest Country City," but the people in the country are as nice as you put them. . . .And way to misunderstood. . .

Good poem, though. I don't know what it's requirements were, but I would have given it full credit.

You never really know how much of you takes residence in other people... We all exchange bits and pieces of ourselves with each other until we're big sparkly collages of everyone and everything we've ever loved
