The Happy Song

If you can believe that true love,
Can be found anywhere, anytime,
From far below, or high above,
Look for it whenever you can,
It can catch you unawares.

If you believe that love can be drowned,
Killed off with a word, and action,
It will never again be found.
But if you believe, love always finds a way,
You will find it all around.

When love is dead and gone,
All life is at an end,
Nothing can carry on,
The curtain closes, the final bow,
Love was just a happy song

Wow, this was a different piece and to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what to think about it. The flow halted in some places and just turned the piece into a narrative paragraph, or even a speech of some sort and I liked this. When the flow was rolling it was a beautiful piece to read, mainly because of the difference in this sad yet romantic story. The imagary was good in some places and I particularly liked the last line, comparing love to a happy song that has gone away.

Great, and with a little improvement, it'll be wonderful
