Background: Alex is a smart guy. As a child and teenager he attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and graduated into Harvard's law school with a shiny 4.0. He was a trial lawyer for the first half of his life but got into politics after his first wife died. During his first wife's death he also got heavily involved in alchohol and cocaine. He managed to break his coke addiction but can't seem to get his face out of the beer mug. He is currently divorced. On December 23rd he will be at the Capitol debating the Gay-lesbian bill.

(A rather dull, short post. However, my character is 8 years old...she will not be awake at 5am lol)
5:15 a.m.
Peighton lay asleep in what they called "her room" at her grandparents house in Boston. It wasn't really her room, but for her visits it was always where she stayed. Her grandparents kept many toys in the rooms for her so she would feel more at home, at occupied. The room was completely dark still with the exception of the Belle nightlight plugged in near the doorway. From the small amount of light you could tell that the room was a decent size--definitely fit to use as a grand guest bedroom. There were paintings hanging on the walls, although most not instantly recognizable--as if they had been done by a member of the family, perhaps. Most of the furniture was cherry in wood and color, the decoratives mostly gold with a hint of red.
But at the moment Peighton couldn't care less about what was in the room. She was happily off in dreamland, snuggled tightly with her prized stuffed doll baby, a Cabbage Patch baby nonetheless.
"Since you've been gone, i can breath for the first time" The music blared in her ear. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Someone sat down upruptly next to her. She glaced at a guy, he didn't look to old and was kinda old lookin, he looked really familair. She racked her brain about it then it poped in her head, it was a senetor, she couldn't think from where though. She shrugged and closed her eyes again.
Umm.... Sorry I didn't make this more clear in Alex's profile, cowgirl, but he's not in massachusetts right now. He's in Washington D.C. So... That must be some other senator sitting next to you... . Again, sorry.
