This will sound lax of me, won't it? All too long for me to actually read.
True, lengthy poetry exists, but I'm not keen on it. So what I'm really saying: from a general scan, there is an overall lack of dialog. Poetry and Punctuation might help. for the second, you shouldn't add polls to your literary/poetical threads. More of a suggestion than a rule but... if you wish to know something, question your reader (either at the beginning or the end) and have them respond verbally. That will give you a better idea than a poll could, anyway.
Sorry I didn't read this. Hope it didn't upset you too much.

Don't worry, Claudette, this didn't upset me at all; since I'm new to this site, I need people to tell me what I do wrong, so if there's anything else, pleace don't hesitate!
p.s., if anyone knows how to get rid of that poll, let me know. I sure can't figure it out.
