A flash of gold,
A glint of steel,
And I behold,
Those eyes, so real.
A sudden lift,
Of bright bronze wings,
He seems to drift,
And then he flings,
His body toward,
A silver streak,
The bright reward,
Of lakes, so bleak.
He ends his dive,
His talons flash,
The silver fish,
And bright claws clash.
He soars away,
A speck of gold,
With secret tales,
All left untold.
