Recycled Sand

Watching eyes for them to run at pre-second flash
Only to chase them down
And apologize to the beachgoer spontaneously chosen as photographer
Sand under their feet giving second by second
Waiting for the current to snatch our footsteps and turn them pure
His too big glasses match the too true smile
Smooshed between high school friends
In his talbot’s polo
Gripping the same dress he’s been gripping for years
Shying away from the caring hand
To the dress that addressed her love of flowers
The uncomfortable swimsuit from the swim that day
The chip on his tooth from years in the past
Blending us together in navy and blue
Her fear of the “too deep” zones
And the sunscreen failing to screen the sun
Thought of peace around his neck
Gave irony to the setting at set
Tasting the water as if not tasted before
Watching for the flash to carry on with,
The same old same day carving of My once carved sand.
"And why does he hang out with those retarted gorillas, as you called them, because any one of them, if he asked them to, would take a bat to your head, okay? It's called loyalty."
-Good Will Hunting.

That was good. If the line length was more constant it would be better, The idea is good and you express it well, even if the word order may at first seem odd. I very much enjoyed it.

This poem does make sense. That post was not necessary in the slightest.

You never really know how much of you takes residence in other people... We all exchange bits and pieces of ourselves with each other until we're big sparkly collages of everyone and everything we've ever loved
