Hello hello, I'm Keiichi (ke-i-chi, it's easy), and I'm a 16 year-old, genderfluid (they/them) beginner poet. While I'm fluent, English is not my first language. Please keep that in mind :smt009

I like to write for fun, and I write about anything, honestly. Mostly about love (or the lack thereof :smt095), the past, or struggles with my identity. But I like to write whatever comes to my mind when I'm feeling creative (or sad).

I reaaally enjoy music, biology (specifically animals! I hate cytology please :smt011), and literature — predominantly Brazilian/Portuguese Romanticism (mainly 2nd generation) and Symbolism in general.

I also like haikai, but I feel too stupid trying to understand how to write them in English.

I need sleep.

Nice to meet everyone! :)

Hello, nice to meet you too!

I'm a bit biased on Clarice Lispector, so I recommend literally any of her books. The Passion According to G.H. is my favorite, though!!

I also really recommend Carla Madeira and Cecília Meireles who is, also, a poet. :smt003

To be a master of metaphor is the greatest thing by far. It is the one thing that cannot be learnt from others, and it is also a sign of genius.
