I'm back at work this week, and so my writing happened much faster and easier than last week. This week's writing was much a continuation of last week's scene. In the scene, Railyn and Corrick enter the baths together as Corrick tries to help Railyn get over his fear of showering together with boys around his age. It's a scene of exploration and solemn self reflection and mutual trust between boys who are in similar situations, just different points in time in this. We move on from Corrick's past to possibilities and difficulties surrounding the future. We end the scene on conquering fears and a bond between boys. Next week we will start moving the plot forward with introductions of other boys and the chaos of move in day to dorms! See you all next week!
