Camp NovMo ‘26: Sidequest Season, Babe!

My glorious journey through LMS ended before it could even properly beggin thanks to my life turning into endless sidequesting, but I’d still like to do some writing!

Goals for this camp:
Carmen Jesen’s Mixtape for Strange Cases
• 6k words - current wordcount: 3529
• crate an actual mixtape for this project
• write at least one of the non-traditional chapters (newspaper article, chat, fax messages)
Oreo (yes, I’ll keep that nickname going)
• uhhhh start from the scratch and see where it goes
• write down some worldbuilding notes and stuff!

Notes: Through gritted teeth I remind myself that sitting down to write at midnight after being in writer's block for months can end up with just one paragraph and that's okay.

One paragraph is a start already, you got this, crow! Your mixtape for strange cases project sounds intriguing, and having a non- traditional chapter makes it suspenseful O.o

Day: take this as a log of past week and a half because I genuenly can't remember what was written when

Notes: I think I've kind of forgotten how to write with all the shit I've been dealing this school year, but slow comeback is still comeback. I consider treating this writing block with some fanfiction writing, since it's always less draining than original fiction.

Hey 3500 is really good! Keep it up! I also love that you are going mixed-media with this project! Will you be posting some of the mixtapes along with it?
