Somewhere on the MC's body, she will always have something royal blue. It's not because she just likes the color, but she finds it quite annoying that her kingdoms colors are red and black and have been for YEARS.
She plans to change them once she's Queen.
Also, when she's frustrated or annoyed, she toys with the ring or bracelet on her wrist or hand.

Confetti.Spoiler
The "villain" of this story doesn't hate confetti, they hate how small and disturbing it is. It's hard to get rid of, messy, and sticks to armor. It's just problematic.
No doubt, the MC without knowing it, would have a knight deliver a box of confetti to her nemesis's door. Out of kindness, of course!

One more breathe. That's what I told myself, even as he kneeled next to me, lifted me into his lap. God, what was this irony?
Each inhale felt like fire, then again, how could it not? There was some form of spear in my stomach. Heavens, I just got this dress tailored, too . . . What a shame.
His eyes were so calm as he reached for something in his armor. I took a deep breath in. A sharp inhale. His gaze instantly snapped to me. One more breath. Maybe if I hold it, it will last longer.
Reaching up, a bloody palm settles against his cheek. He wasn't smiling. He has such pretty dimples when he smiles. I want to see them again, I . . .
"You should have wrote to me. You should have told me the palace was under attack. This is your job as queen." He said. I winced at the tone he used.
I didn't speak. My vision swirled with black dots. I didn't have time to feel sorry for myself.
"You should have told me, Xaria." His voice echoed. He sounded more desperate this time.
I wanted to apologize, for once in my life, God, please let me apologize.
But I couldn't. I couldn't get my voice to work. If it were worth it, I could have saved him this sorrow and not have married him. But I did. I thought I loved him, Lord, I do love him. But time and space do not like each other.
The last of my vision faded out, pain disappeared. I felt nothing. Not numb, not cold or warm. Just nothing. The last I heard was him saying,
"God, Xara, don't leave me!"
Followed by a muffled;
"Please . . . I love you."
But I'd never say it back. If it were worth it, I probably would have.
Probably . . . No . . .
I would have.
I love him, now, forever, and always.
Always . . .

It's not mentioned, but the queen had a minor affair with a king from another kingdom, leading to her pregnancy to a child older then the MC.
This child creates... problems later on, and the MC never knows or figures out that this is her half-sibling.
