july camp novmo 2025: the laine project

hello there!!
i had this idea literally today, but i already have some ideas brewing...(aka, the main character, the beginning of the novel, and some major plot beats)
i want to plot this story and hopefully get started on the first chapter in june!
(by the way, "the laine project" is definitely not the actual title, just a placeholder since the mc's name will be laine.)

@Spearmint thank you for the interest XD i've made a lot of progress!! just haven't gotten around to updating this thread.

soooo here's what i've done:

- done 90% of the worldbuilding (i'm gonna post some screenshots in here)
- created some general plot beats, i'm aiming for a series and i've got some of the main beats down
- plotted the first two chapters!
- drawn a map (will post picture)
- written a really bad prologue and some of the first and second chapter!

so yeah!!
