Favorite Character Design Elements?

Howdy hey, Gengar here! Uh I’m partially making this thread for character designs inspiration, but also because I love characters that look neat and cool.

The title’s kinda self explanatory; what are some of your favorite things in character designs, things you just find to be neat? You can even include examples if you’d like

(I’ll post some of mine later bc its late lol)

Alr here they are:

--Unique eyes (shaped pupils, heterochromia, cool makeup/eyelashes, etc)
--Sharp teeth. Makes the characters look devious
--Comically small/large characters. Like, their size is so dramatic that it's funny
--Interesting color combos. Such as, dark colors with neon accents
--Asymmetrical features
--Characters with objects for a head
--Characters that are missing normal facial features, like my original species that doesn't have mouths
--Anything themed after angels
--Anything themed after cryptids or folklore, especially obscure ones
--Body distortion. Not necessarily gore, just. Distortion. Like taking normal features and stretching them, or multiplying them, or removing them to create something unsettling
--Characters who wear glasses and the glasses are basically their eyes
--Eye bags
--Gradients on the limbs
--Small adorable little creatures that are so cute that makes you want to reach through the screen and pet them.
--Characters that are the opposite of how they look. Ex: innocent-looking characters that are dangerous, scary-looking characters that are cinnamon rolls
--Perpetually making the :3 face
--Anything reoccurring throughout a character design, like a color or symbol
--Floating limbs
--Sentient monster tails
--Any kind of slime/dripping design
--Animals that don't usually have four legs, suddenly have four legs. Bonus points if they act like a puppy (ex: Jeff the Land Shark)

Funky colored glasses
Hair in not natural color/in a bit unusual color combination with skin tone
