Hello all, Silver here! You knew I was a writer, but might not have known I was in astronautical engineering- and if you did, you probably wouldn't have guessed I am dangerously indecisive over what to name a certain satellite in The Last Spell. Feels like I should know how to do this, right? >_> Turns out I do not, and I'm at the point in the story where I really need to commit, so I'm opening it up to YWS!

Some general info about said satellite:
-It was the fictional world's first space mission, similar to our real-world Sputnik 1 or Mercury 7, so every option has "1" in it.
-Publicly, its purpose is to collect geospatial and climate data. Secretly... well, there may or may not be an espionage component.
-Space travel has been a thing for ~520 years now. No one's building space colonies, but it's not that big of a deal to launch a rocket or create a new space station anymore, and space tourism is popular if you have the money.
-This satellite crashed back to earth five years ago and gave way to the term "spacewreck". Huh, mysterious.

If you'd like to suggest another name than those in the poll, please do! c: Any suggestion is welcome, although I have two small nitpicks:
-It is a fictional world, so terms/proper nouns belonging to our world don't make sense in the context. For example, names like Apollo, Gemini, Viking, etc. don't exist in the fantasy setting.
-On a similar note, I'd like to avoid a name taken by a real-world space mission (whether it's NASA, CSA, Roscosmos, SpaceX, or so on). ...Can NASA sue you for copyright? I don't know, but it'd be cool to work there someday, so I'd like to stay in their good graces!

Thanks for helping out! :)

Thunderbird 1 sounds awesome! But maybe something like GeoSpy1 is cool too! A little foreshadowing is always epic!

Ooh true! I could see that working as an acronym for something.

I’d like to suggest Explorator or Exploretem, from the Latin for spy/espionage while in English sounding like a science thing exploring the climate lol

How about Aegis? In Greek mythology, Aegis refers to a protective shield, symbolizing security and defense.
