Ages ago, the world had been overtaken by cheese. Humans no longer ate any kind of food other than cheese, and in doing so, had evolved to only need to survive off cheese and milk. It was a genius and blissful idea.
Now, Earth's society worships cows and eats only cheese, from soft brie to sharp pepper jack. Those who have lactose intolerance have been forced to either hide their allergy, ignore it, or be sent to the dreaded Brieson. People with this allergy are now low in numbers.
Meanwhile, a cow's life could not be worse. Grass that they feed on has been genetically modified to contain a chemical that makes cows make more milk and have the desire to make more milk. Forced to make milk nonstop, they go about life thinking this is their only purpose.
