Week 1

Roxanne wrote:Image

'Tis the time to start hashtagging again! Every week in July, you will find some fun NaNoTags in the People Tab to join in on. How does it work? Simply post the hashtag you'd like to respond to on your wall along with your answer.

#OneSentence
We're starting off by bringing back the classic. Summarise your novel idea in one sentence. If your novel idea from last Camp NaNo hasn't changed, feel free to do this one again or skip to the next hashtag.

#FavSideCharacter
Let's show some love for the supporting characters in the novels. Share the name of your favourite side character, and optionally, other details about them, using this hashtag.

So, hop on the hashtag wagon and join the CampNaNo fun! Happy writing :)

Week 2

Hope you've all been having fun with the NaNoTags so far! If you'd like to catch up on them, you can find a list of all the tags so far in this thread. :D
Now then, it's time for some more hashtags, created by the lovely Roxanne!! Remember, you can answer these hashtags by posting on your wall with your answer and the hashtag.

#FirstLine
A great hook is important for drawing in readers and piquing their interest! And regardless of whether you're still workshopping it or not, there's something special about a first line. Share the first line of your novel. If you don't have one written yet, feel free to share any ideas you have for when you do start writing!

#NovelSoundtrack
Do you know a song that would be perfect for the theme of your novel? Can you envision your novel as a film? Share the soundtrack of your novel. Bonus points if you explain why you think the music you share fits your novel! ;D

We're a week through Camp NaNo already! Best of luck with all your projects, and happy writing! =D

Week 3

We're back with another set of NaNoTags! Last week's #FirstLine and #NovelSoundtrack had catchy opening lines and great soundtracks! If you missed any of the tags before, head over to the trusty NaNoTags thread and catch up on the buzz. And this week's hashtags are...

#BestDialogue
Coming up with dialogue is an art, whether it's something moving, suspenseful or ridiculously hilarious. Share one (or more) of your favourite dialogues or quotes from your novel.

#SpoilerAlert
This one's for the jaw-droppers, the twists, the unexpected turns - big or small. Share a plot twist in your novel and be sure to wrap it in a spoiler code. You can also include the title of your novel above the spoiler. See the code below for an example.
Code
#SpoilerAlert (Title of your novel)
[spoiler]insert twist here[/spoiler]

Bonus Hashtag!
Because all's fair in writing and memes, share some memes about the writing process, NaNoWriMo, characters, writers themselves, or anything else related to writing. Tag it all with #NaNoMemes

Good luck with your projects and have fun with the NaNoTags! :D

Woah, where'd all the time fly off to? Well, we hope you've had fun with Camp NaNo and NaNoTags this month! You can take a look at this thread to catch up on any tags you may have missed :D
Here are some of our last hashtags for this Camp NaNo! Thank you to Roxanne for coming up with these awesome tags! ^-^

#SettingSnippet
Where does your story take place? A planet? A town? A void? Share a bit about your setting. Feel free to share your notes about the setting or a description pulled right from your novel!

#VillainVibes
Villains can have so much variety, from focused villains bent on revenge to slightly insane ones causing mischief for fun. If your novel has a villain, what are they like? Share a quote, description, or some notes showing the vibe of your villain.

Almost to the final stretch! Great job with all you've done so far, and I wish you all the best with the rest of Camp NaNo!! =D
