If anyone cares to answer, what is the worst book-to-media adaptation you have ever seen recently or not-so-recently? The only rules are though that you can't have all obvious answers like Twilight or Harry Potter or whatever. But I'm also not saying all obscure stuff, either.
I might ruffle some feathers here but from an business POV the Shadow & Bone/Six of Crows TV series on Netflix should of never happened if Netflix was so worried about sales. Its an TV series with an lot of commitment ahead of it, and it all looks the same to me. I don't think they even tried to make it look different at all because it just looks like an CW version of The Witcher or Game of Thrones or something. But I also don't get the Webtoons turned published graphic novel kind of pipeline, either. Also sorry but LavenderTowne's series Unfamiliar isn't even that interesting to me, but I don't like fantasy graphic novels so I guess I'm not an fan of it. Maybe I'm not one to like Shadow & Bone, either.
